Free Nationwide Online Seminar on 2006 Year-End Tax Tips
Web-Based Presentation Slated for December 20, 2006 at 2 pm EST
PARSIPPANY, N.J., Dec. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- With just a few days left in 2006, you can still positively impact your tax situation. For some no- cost tips in the comfort of your own home or office, join Jackson Hewitt Tax Service(R) on December 20, 2006 at 2 pm EST for a free, 30-minute online seminar on year-end tax tips for individuals. Attendees will learn some traditional ways to reduce taxable income or increase deductions, as well as how their tax may be affected by the new rules related to energy tax incentives, the telephone excise tax refund, charitable contributions, the kiddie tax and military IRAs.
"With so many new tax changes, enrolling in this online session is an excellent way for people to get tips on how to effectively impact their 2006 tax return before the year is over and it's too late," said Mark Steber, Vice President of Tax Resources at Jackson Hewitt Tax Service. "For example, taxpayers may elect to put some of their holiday bonus pay into a 401(k) plan, reducing their taxable income dollar for dollar."

Participants are encouraged to pre-register for this 30-minute online presentation, as space is limited to the first 1,000 registrants.
