It's Tax Time: Make Sure Your Employer Did His Job

Copy A of your W-2 should be filed with the Social Security
Administration generally by Feb. 28 or March 31 if the company files

a record of your earnings history and an estimate of how much you and
your employer paid in taxes, and should be checked periodically for

If you leave your employer before the end of the calendar year, and
request your W-2 at that time, your employer must provide your form
within 30 days of your request.
